Wakefield Police responded to these and other calls for service on Thursday, September 5, 2013. At 7:48 a.m. a motorist near Vernon Street and Water Street reported another driver was operating erratically and attempting to pass a school bus. At 10:09 a.m., after a traffic stop on North Ave., police arrested Michael A. Desano, 37, 15 Dean Street, Stoneham, on a warrant. At 4:02 p.m. a minor accident on Farm Street was reported. At 6:14 p.m. a caller reported lawn furniture stolen from in front of a home on Cordis Street. At 11:31 p.m. police took a call involving harassing text messages.
