'For The Love Of Cheese': New Shop Opens In Wakefield

Life Love Cheese is a new addition in Wakefield offering everything from grazing boards to sandwiches and wine.

WAKEFIELD, MA — Life Love Cheese is now open on Water Street in Wakefield, offering wine, beer, spirits, sandwiches, charcuterie boards, and more.

The new shop also has a variety of events like "Cheese Tasting & Mocktails for Dry January" and "Valentine's Cheese & Chocolate Pairing with Wine Sampling."

The wide range of artisanal cheeses on offer include a Smokey Blue by Rogue Creamery, a Womanchego from Cato Corner Farm, and a Smoked Scamorza by Maplebrook.

In addition to its storefront at 184 Water St., customers can "pre-order through our small but mighty online cheese shop or by order one our arranged grazing boards or gift boxes," according to the Life Love Cheese website.

Last month, the shop was damaged by a pellet gun days before its grand opening, NBC 10 Boston reported.

Owner Kimi Ceridon said the vandal damaged several windows that would cost up to $10,000 to repair.

However, she said that the community "has been reaching out and supporting us and they've been really excited to have us here," according to NBC 10 Boston.
