Man Charged With Heroin, Cocaine Distribution

Wakefield Police responded to these and other calls for service between Friday, September 23 and Sunday, September 25, 2013.
On Friday, September 23 at 8:08 a.m. an accident was reported on Lowell Street.
At 8:29 a.m. an individual reportedly fell and struck their head near Main Street and Aborn Ave., and was transported to a nearby hospital.
At 8:54 a.m. police were informed that a vehicle had damaged another car’s side mirror on Armory Street.
At 10:02 a.m. a caller on Smith Street reported that an individual had struck a parked vehicle overnight and left a note on the windshield.
At 10:04 a.m. a suspicious auto was reported on Butler Ave. They turned out to be waiting for a funeral.
At 2:03 p.m. police arrested Joshua B. Allen, 50, 9 Wakefield Ave., Wakefield, and charged him with possession of a Class D drug with intent to distribute, and possession of a Class B drug.
At 3:55 p.m. an accident was reported at Main Street and Summer Street.
At 4:12 p.m. a caller reported an individual being noisy on Crescent Street.
At 5:19 p.m. police arrested Daniel Moya, 19, 6 Park Street, Salem, and charged him with distribution of a Class A drug – heroin, possession of a Class B drug (cocaine) with intent to distribute, and a drug violation near a school or park. The K9 unit proceeded to check the vehicle at the station.
At 7:05 p.m. a caller on Water Street reported an individual was apparently trying to steal some milk crates. The individual thought they were discarded and no charges were filed.
At 8:28 p.m. police took a report involving threats. They issued a summons to a 35 year old Derry, New Hampshire resident charging him with threatening to commit a crime – to wit, kill.
At 11:01 p.m. an employee at McDonald’s reportedly damaged the vehicle of another individual. A summons was to be filed later.
On Saturday, September 28 at 4:35 p.m. police took a report of a past assault.
At 4:47 p.m. police took a report of a fight at 7-11 on Albion Street with injury. Police arrested a 16 year old and charged him with assault and battery and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (a full 23 ounce can).
At 5:36 p.m. a two car accident was reported near Main Street and Sweetser Street. Police arrested Allen D. Berrien, 59, 190 Dugway Road, Falls Village, CT., and charged him with OUI Liquor, operating with a suspended or revoked registration, and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
At 2:55 p.m. police drove an intoxicated man home after receiving a call about him walking on Audubon Road.
At 4:31 p.m. an accident was reported on North Ave.
At 7:02 p.m. a caller requested a well-being check for a man who had fallen on the sidewalk on Chestnut Street. He was OK.
Around 7:30 p.m. police received three calls about individuals shooting off fireworks.
