Medford Boys Soccer Advances to Sectional Final
The Mustangs earned their second straight playoff win on penalty kicks Wednesday night.

The Medford High School boys soccer team advanced to the final round of the North Division 1 tournament bracket after knocking off Brookline Wednesday evening at Manning Field.
In semi-final action, the Mustangs won the state playoff game on penalty kicks, edging Brookline by a final score of 1-0. Medford previously beat Malden on penalty kicks to set up the matchup with Brookline.

The Mustangs will next play Lincoln-Sudbury in the finals on Sunday afternoon at 3:30 p.m. If they win, the team will move on to the MIAA state championship play.
The game will once again be played at Manning Field in Lynn.
