Several Hit and Run Accidents Reported

Information provided by the Wakefield Police. Where arrests are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Wakefield Police responded to these and other calls for service on Monday, August 19, 2013.
At 10:23 a.m. a vandalized car was reported on Belmont Road.
At 11:46 a.m. police were informed that a vehicle struck a parked car on Main Street.
At 12:51 p.m. a hit and run accident was reported at the Sunoco on Salem Street.
At 12:58 p.m. a caller reported an individual was smoking marijuana in their apartment on Vernon Street. Police spoke with the individual.
At 2:28 p.m. a caller reported that a tire had rolled out of the woods near JJ Round Park, almost striking his car. Police did not find the tire or anybody in the woods.
At 2:55 p.m. a vandalism report came in from Audubon Road.
At 4:25 p.m. the fire department put out a small brush fire behind Brothers on Main Street.
At 4:56 p.m. police responded to West Water Street for a report of a verbal altercation between two neighbors with an ongoing feud. 

At 5:58 p.m. an accident was reported near Parker Road and Outlook Road.
At 7:24 p.m. an individual turned over a bicycle he had recovered from Lake Quannapowitt.
At 9:50 p.m. a man was reported laying in the street near Main Street and Richardson Ave. He was waiting for a ride and moved.
At 10:20 a vehicle reportedly struck a pole and fled. The pole was split and the road was closed for a time.
