Thanks to one Somerville man, people no longer need to travel to New England to see the area’s world-renowned fall foliage. Kyle Waring will instead ship you bunches of the beautiful, multi-colored leaves for a small price.
Waring, a resident of Somerville, recently designed a website called shipfoliage.com. He has started shipping out bundles of the leaves for $19.99. Waring hand picks the leaves himself.

Foliage season in New England generates millions of dollars in tourism each year.
According to Kenosha News, Waring is a man who seeks out “seasonal monetization opportunities.” Waring shipped several pounds of snow from this past winter’s record-breaking storms to various parts of the country. He decided upon leaves because “fall in New England is especially gorgeous and really strikes an emotional chord.”

Waring preserves the leaves with glycerin and water. He packages bundles of red, yellow and green leaves and then ships them off, according to ship foliage.com. Leaves are approximately 3” x 6” - 5” x 8.” Waring’s business will even include a handwritten message for free.
“These beautiful maple leaves will put a smile on anyone’s face,” the website claims.
