Thanks To Vestmark, Back To School With New Backpacks
Wakefield company donates new backpacks stuffed with school supplies to children in need.
A release from Vestmark's Heart of Giving Committee:
August is traditionally “Back to School” time for students across the country. For the second consecutive year, team members at Wakefield-based Vestmark Inc. have given less fortunate children in their local community new backpacks stuffed with school supplies.
Vestmark employees purchased the backpacks, and the company provided notebooks, binders, calculators, and other supplies. This year, after the Vestmark team members stuffed the 80 backpacks with supplies — exceeding their original goal of 75 — they gave them to REACH Beyond Domestic Violence, which provides safety and support to domestic abuse survivors, to distribute to local students in need.
