Here's an interesting relic from the town's past – <a href="http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Wakefield-MA-Milk-Bottle-w-Disney-characters-McDonald-Farm-1-2-Pint-..." rel="nofollow" target="_blank">a milk bottle from the former McDonald Farm in Wakefield</a> – a memory of the place apparently living on in the form of McDonald Farm Road, off of Elm Street and Parker Road. On the back, there's Disney character's Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Porky Pig, Goofy, and this cow that I had to Google that appears to be named Clarabelle.  That said – the seller is asking $179 for this bottle, apparently because of the above mentioned Disney characters, which also include the message, "This is the way to spend the day – We drink our milk then run and play!" Which may or may not also be a phrase once uttered during a Twilight Zone episode around this same era. See pictures above for more.
