Trash Collection Delayed In Town Of Wakefield

Trash and recycling collection is delayed a day due to the double challenge of a storm during a holiday week. On Monday, Feb. 28, the collection will be for those who are typically a Friday route (pushed to Saturday due to the Presidents’ Day holiday… and again delayed due to the snowstorm).

Tuesday, March 1, will be the Monday-route collection. Wednesday will be the Tuesday-route collection, and so on.

• Friday, February 25: no collection
• Saturday, February 26: Thursday’s route (pushed to Friday per the holiday schedule) picked up
• Monday, February 28: Friday’s route picked up
• Tuesday, March 1: Monday’s route picked up
• Wednesday, March 2: Tuesday’s route picked up
• Thursday. March 3: Wednesday’s route picked
• Friday. March 4: Thursday’s route picked up
• Saturday. March 5: Friday’s route picked up

As always, your assistance clearing hydrants, sidewalks, and catch basins near your home is appreciated.
