Wakefield Gears Up For Town Day Celebration

Organizers recently shared a call for exhibitors interested in reserving space at the event.

WAKEFIELD, MA — Wakefield is continuing preparations for its annual Town Day celebration just over a month before the event on the Town Common on Oct. 8.

Town Day is set to take place from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Oct. 8. It will include music, food and drink, children's activities, artisans and exhibitors. The event is hosted by the town of Wakefield and the Wakefield Lynnfield Chamber of Commerce.

The town is anticipating a more complete schedule of events and offerings later this month.

In the meantime, organizers are calling for exhibitors interested in reserving space at the Town Day. Groups can include municipal committees and non-profit groups servicing Wakefield. Groups can also include for-profit artisans and businesses that are based in Wakefield, as noted in a recent message from the town.
