Wakefield Pedestrian Killed In Accident; ID Released
A 78-year-old Wakefield man was hit and killed in a collision earlier this week.
WAKEFIELD, MA — A pedestrian was killed in an accident Wednesday afternoon on Water Street in Wakefield, according to WCVB 5-ABC.
The 78-year-old man was walking at about 2:30 p.m. when he was hit by a 2023 Ford Mustang Mach-E that was leaving a driveway.
The pedestrian, Joseph Dow, of Wakefield, was taken to a local hospital and later declared dead, Boston.com reported.

The driver, a 38-year-old woman, remained at the scene of the accident.
The crash remains under investigation.
