Wakefield Plans Movies By The Lake Finale
Wakefield Community Access TV will host a screening of Sing 2 on Thursday.
WAKEFIELD, MA — Wakefield is set to enjoy its final Movies by the Lake screening of the summer on Thursday when Wakefield Community Access TV showcases Sing 2 on the shores of Lake Quannapowitt.
Part of Wakefield Community Access’ larger summer schedule of screenings, this week’s festivities will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the Lower Common area on the lake.
In addition to Wakefield Community Access, sponsors include the Gingerbread Construction Co., The Savings Bank, Rebirth Transformation Center, Tufts Medicine and First Parish Congregational Church.

Guests will be able to enjoy a group coloring project before the movie starts around 8:30 p.m., as noted in an event announcement.
Where weather conditions have snarled some plans this summer, organizers are optimistic that this week’s screening will move forward.

“There's a good chance we may be able to have our last 2022 Movies by the Lake (Sing 2) tomorrow!” Wakefield Community Access wrote in their announcement on Wednesday. “Forecast is good.”
