Wakefield Police Respond to Verizon Protest Calls
Police were called to two disputes May 12 surrounding the Verizon strike

Twice this week, Wakefield Police were called to Verizon protests in which workers complained of being blocked by protesters.
On May 12, at 120 Melrose St., a Verizon worker requested assistance with protesters and the same day at 11 Whittier St., a Verizon worker reported being blocked in by protesters. Police arrived and the employee departed.
