Wakefield Releases Details On Water Main Flushing Schedule

WAKEFIELD, MA — Wakefield's Department of Public Works Water Division will be flushing water mains in areas north of Water Street and Broadway from October 1 to October 27. Flushing will occur in areas of south of Water Street and Broadway from October 17 to November 17.

You may temporarily experience discolored water and/or reduced pressure during these times. Property owners with water filters should refrain from using them during these periods. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation during this important maintenance process.
