Week Begins With Several Arrests

Wakefield Police responded to these and other calls for service on Monday, November 4, 2013.
At 2:39 p.m an accident was reported near Main Street and Crescent Street.
At 2:59 p.m. police took a report of an attempted telephone scam.
At 3:08 p.m. a woman called police to report that an ex-boyfriend had just forced his way into her apartment. Police arrested Efim Radzinsky, 35, 141 Chiswick Road, Boston, and charged him with breaking and entering a building in the daytime for a felony, assault and battery – domestic, and intimidating a witness.
At 3:45 p.m. a woman called to report an ex-boyfriend would not leave. He ended up leaving soon after.
At 5:19 p.m. police responded to Washington Ave. for a report of a man threatening a woman.
At 5:58 p.m. police arrested Christopher David Kallenback, 25, 1 Franklin Street, Wakefield, and charged him on four warrants.
At 6:33 p.m. a motorist called to report striking a coyote on Water Street.
At 9:42 p.m. a caller on Murray Street reported a vehicle backed into his car and drove away. The matter remains under investigation.
At 11:42 p.m. the fire department responded to Chestnut Street after a resident reported smelling smoke outside.
At 2:36 a.m. on Tuesday, November 5,an officer checked on a male behind the Odyssey Day School on Paul Ave. and ended up arresting Derek Guertin, 22, 193 Broadway, Wakefield, charging him with trespassing, threatening to commit a crime, and two counts of witness intimidation.
