WHS Play Runs This Weekend, 5K in Lynnfield Sunday

A look at what's coming up in and around Wakefield.

Today is Friday, November 22. Here are five things worth knowing today. 

Wakefield High School Theater Arts will present “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee” starting tonight through Sunday, September 24. You can see showtimes and buy tickets at this link

Wakefield DPW has announced curbside leaf and yard waste collections next Saturday, Nov. 23. All containers must be curbside by 7 a.m., with leaves and grass placed in biodegradable paper bags or barrels. Branches must be tied in bundles, no larger than 3 feet long and 16 inches in diameter. No plastic bags accepted. Call 781-246-6301 for information.
