Woman Hit By Pickup Truck That Fled In Wakefield; Police Investigate
A woman was struck and knocked to the ground by a pickup truck while crossing the street, police said.
WAKEFIELD, MA — Wakefield police are investigating a hit-and-run accident that occurred Tuesday in the area of North Avenue and Church Street.
A woman said that while she was crossing the street around 1 p.m., a white pickup truck heading eastbound on Church Street hit her and knocked her to the ground, according to police.
