• Saving Sprout: A community rallies to bring a malnourished puggle back from the brink (bostonglobe.com) — A severely malnourished puggle named Sprout was rushed to Tufts Veterinary Emergency Treatment & Specialties in Walpole, where emergency care helped save her life. Now recovering at the Animal Protection Center of Southeastern Massachusetts, she’s gaining weight, getting round-the-clock attention from manager Katie Anderson, and drawing strong community support and donations as she inches closer to being healthy enough for adoption.
