Walpole Mom Is ‘The Kind Of Mom I Strive To Be, Makes It Look Easy'

WALPOLE, MA— Moms do so much for everyone around them. We try to celebrate them all year long, but Mother's Day is a perfect opportunity to shout it from the rooftops and post it on Patch: Mom rocks!

Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize the awesome moms and mom figures in communities like yours.

What makes your mom extra special?

Elise is the type of mom I strive to be. She’s dedicated like no one I’ve ever met to teaching her kiddos how much fun it can be to play in nature, explore, and always be learning. She’s so good at it that she has created a whole community around getting outside with your kids. I’m so grateful to have met Elise this past year and to get to learn from her each week.

Why do you feel your mom deserves the spotlight?

I know she makes it look easy but she works really hard to create opportunities for her kids (and mine!) to play and learn. I’m so grateful that Elise created our playgroup and that she continues to build a community around getting kids outside.
