Walpole resident planning 10th annual benefit gala for VNA Care

A Walpole resident is among the volunteers organizing the 10th anniversary of VNA Care’s annual benefit with a special Summer Solstice Gala on Thursday, June 22, at 6 pm on the Terrace of the MIT Endicott House Estate, 80 Haven St., Dedham.

This enchanting evening will be filled with delicious food and spectacular entertainment from Jen Aldana who starred on The Voice. All funds raised will directly support hospice and home health care for patients and families.

VNA Care served over 26,000 patients in 2022 through their home health nursing and rehabilitation services and through end-of-life care and support. For over 135 years, VNA Care has helped individuals remain independent at home, manage newly diagnosed or complex medical conditions, and recover from surgery. When an illness is terminal, VNA Care’s hospice team enables patients to live with dignity throughout the end-of-life journey and provides support to loved ones before and after their loss.

The dedicated volunteer leaders who serve on VNA Care’s Community Cabinet include Mary Lou Hughes of Walpole.
