The Walpole High School softball team is seeded 17th in the MIAA Division 1 South Sectional state tournament and will take the field Thursday at 3:30 p.m. against No. 16 Dighton-Rehoboth. The Rebels finished the regular season with a 12-8 record while D-R enters postseason play at 14-8.
