Car, Truck Crash Into Waltham Home
Overnight a car drove through a fence and into a truck, pushing it into a single-family home.

WALTHAM, MA — Overnight, a car slammed into a work van, sending both vehicles crashing into a home near the corner of Wayne Avenue and Warren Street. The driver of the car was taken to the hospital, according to fire officials. No one in the home was hurt. The van was unoccupied.
Fire officials said the driver of the car crashed through through a metal fence and smashed into the parked box truck in the driveway. Damage to the house was so significant that a building inspector was called to inspect for structural damage.
"The driver of the car was conscious and alert, but they did transport him to Newton-Wellesley (Hospital)," Waltham fire Lt. Scott Perry told Patch.
