Claudette M. LeBlanc, 62, of Waltham

Claudette M. LeBlanc, of Framingham formerly of Waltham, died Friday April 26, 2013 at the Newton-Wellesley Hospital after a lengthy illness.  She was 62.

Born and raised in Waltham to the late Gerard and Rita (Bourque) Cormier, she was a longtime resident of Waltham before moving to Framingham in 1993.  She was a 1969 graduate of Waltham High School.

She worked as a Unit Manger for Newton-Wellesley Hospital for several years.

Claudette was on the Waltham Youth Hockey Board of Directors for several years and ran the Babe Ruth Baseball shack for a couple of years.  In her spare time she enjoyed arts and crafts and most of all spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her loving husband Rheal LeBlanc of Framingham, her devoted children James and his wife Penny (Wagner) LeBlanc of Pennsylvania and Lisa Despres and her husband Daniel of Framingham, her brother Gerard Cormier of Waltham, her dear aunt Bernadette Bourque of Waltham, and her cherished grandchildren Jessica, Troy, and Jake.  She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend funeral services will from the Brasco & Sons Memorial, 773 Moody St., WALTHAM, Thursday May, 2, 2013 at 9 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial in celebration of Claudette's life at Sacred Heart Church, 311 River St., Waltham, at 10 a.m.  Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Waltham.  Parking attendants will be on duty.
