Buckle Up for the Worst Potholes in Waltham

We asked Patch Readers which streets have the most bumps, divots and craters in their area.

Nothing puts a dent in a morning commute like bad traffic and a street littered with potholes.

Blizzard 2016 left monumental snowfalls up and down the east coast, and Waltham was not immune to its wrath.

Large snowfalls compiled with El Niño induced warmer temperatures have caused more potholes and road problems than most motorists can stomach.

Patch Readers gave us a rundown of particularly pocked streets in their neighborhoods. Here are some spots that might be worth detouring:

  • “Around the bridge on Lyman Street before the rotary.”
  • “Robbins Street from one end to the other end.”
  • “Bottom of Parkview Road, off Waverly Oaks Rd.”
  • “Bear Hill Rd.”
  • “School St. near Francis St., terrible.”
  • “Cross St.! Can blow a tire on them!”
