This is an amazing way to get into Law Enforcement. Many WPD current employees including current Police Officers, Detectives, Sergeants, Lieutenants and Captain got their start as a Cadet over the last twenty years. Cadets work side by side with officers in the station, performing a variety of administrative tasks. The pay and benefits are excellent for an entry level position.
