• GameStop closes Waltham store as chain shrinks despite profit gains​ (walthamtimes.org) — Waltham gamers just lost their local GameStop at Lexington Street and Trapelo Road, one of a dozen Massachusetts locations the chain has recently shut down. The 1019 Trapelo Road store, once busy on big release days, is now listed as closed and sporting a “for lease” sign as GameStop trims underperforming shops and shifts more toward online sales despite reporting higher profits.
