Late Waltham Officer Paul Tracey Wins MA Police Association Medal Of Valor

WALTHAM, MA — The Massachusetts Police Association presented the family of Paul Tracey with a prestigious, but often somber, award at this year's convention.

Tracey was posthumously awarded the Medal of Valor at the MPA's annual convention last week. The award was presented to Tracey's wife Kristin and their children.

Tracey and National Grid employee Roderick Jackson were killed at a worksite on Totten Pond Road in Waltham in December 2023.

The deaths led to mass mourning for many across the state, including at a Waltham funeral service for Tracey and a Cambridge service for Jackson, which brought droves of people to each location.
