Movie Starring Robert Downey Jr. Being Shot in Waltham

UPDATED, 2:04 p.m.: City officials have confirmed the movie being shot in Waltham is "The Judge."

According to Waltham's Traffic Engineer J. Michael Garvin, the film is being shot at Children’s Hospital on July 17, but that portion will not have any impact on public roads. The movie is being shot on a vacant lot behind the hospital away from public roads.

Filming will continue on Monday, July 22 through Wednesday, July 24, according to Garvin. On Monday, crews will shoot a scene inside of Moody Spa, Garvin said. Several on-street parking spots will be blocked off for that shoot. Later on Monday, filming will move to the former Wires Department building on Church Street, Garvin said. Crews have already built a set inside to make it look like the interior of a police station, Garvin said. Several on-street parking spots will also be blocked off for that shoot.
