Months in the making, Brookline Bank's new Waltham location held a grand opening on Tuesday to celebrate its new building at the corner of Main and Newton streets.
Mayor Jeannette McCarthy, city councilors and bank officials gathered for a brief ribbon cutting before touring the bank. The building sits on the former Sal's Pizza site.
The bank officially opened over the summer.
