New Waltham Cultural Center Opens

Waltham officials on Saturday, June 22, officially opened the new Cultural Center at 510 Moody St.

Officials displayed the new roller skating rink, movie screening space and other activity rooms. The facility is currently being used for summer programs but the Recreation Department is working on opening it as a play center for kids to visit on outside of regular programming, according to Recreation Director Sandra Tomasello. The building previous served as the South Junior High School.
