Waltham Intersection To Get Makeover
The intersection at Main and Gore streets near the Watertown line is about to get a makeover. There's a neighborhood meeting on it Wed.

WALTHAM, MA — If you've ever pulled up to Main Street from Gore Street and tried to turn onto Warren Street near the Watertown line and been a bit confused, you're not alone.
There's a neighborhood meeting Wednesday to discuss a proposal for giving the intersection a makeover. Councilors John McLaughlin of Ward 4 and Joey LaCava of Ward 5 along with the mayor and the city's traffic engineer Michael Garvin will be on hand to answer questions and hear from residents, according to LaCava.
In 2017 the city created a master transportation plan. On it, the consultant identified Main Street at Barbara Road which is also at Gore and Washington streets as an intersection with an issue.
