Waltham Man Thrown From Jeep, Hit By Tractor Trailer In NY
A Waltham man was killed in New York this weekend after he was thrown out of the Jeep he was driving, according to New York State Police.
WALTHAM, MA — A Waltham man was killed in New York this weekend after he was thrown out of the Jeep he was driving and a man driving a tractor-trailer hit him, according to New York State Police.
Robert H. Harrington, 45, was driving his 2019 Jeep southbound on I-87 around 11:20 p.m. when he hit a guardrail, police said. He was thrown out of the car and into the road, and was hit by a tractor-trailer. The driver of that truck Robin Carroll, 63, cooperated with police.
Harrington was pronounced dead at the scene by the Rockland County Medical Examiner, according to police. Carroll was not injured.
