Waltham Police Chief Trial: Jury Begins Deliberations

Waltham Police Chief Thomas LaCroix is on trial for allegedly attacking his wife and her friend in June 2012.

The jury in the trial of Waltham Police Chief Thomas LaCroix began deliberations on Tuesday, according to the Boston Globe.

The jury will resume deliberations Wednesday at Concord District Court. LaCroix is facing charges for allegedly attacking his wife and her friend at his Maynard home in June 2012. He is on paid administartive leave from the police department and free on supervised release.

Several other witnessess testified Tuesday before the prosecutor and defense attorney gave their closing arguments, according to the Globe.
