Waltham Schools Closed Tuesday, Dec. 3

WALTHAM, MA — Waltham Public Schools will be closed Tuesday, Dec. 3, following Boston's lead. It's the first snow day of the school year for students.

Students and parents across Massachusetts had their eyes on school closings lists beginning Sunday, but Waltham only delayed the start date Monday.

Tuesday's closure comes as the second burst of snow Monday night into Tuesday promises to dump between 4 inches and a foot of snow on the region.
