Waltham Seeking Next Dual Language School Principal

WALTHAM, MA — Waltham Public Schools is currently looking for the next principal of the Dual Language School (DL), the city’s bilingual public elementary school.
The current principal of DL is Rochelle Nwosu, who formerly worked as an ESL teacher, recruitment manager and principal in the Boston Public Schools. She was also Boston College Lynch Leadership Academy fellow, during which time she worked at the Hurley School, a dual language school in Boston.
The district has now launched a survey to find its next principal. The survey is open to parents, staff, educators, and community members and will help the school determine what people are looking for in candidates.

DL immerses students in reading, writing, and speaking in Spanish under the instruction of bilingual teachers. According to the district, the school partners with families to deliver the best in bilingual academic, social, and emotional supports for all students.
