Waltham's Mighty Squirrel Opens 2 New MA Biergarten's For The Summer

WALTHAM, MA — If you're out of town for the day and looking for a familiar Waltham brew, you may be in luck.

Mighty Squirrel, the beloved Waltham brewery with a taproom on Waverley Oaks Road, has expanded outside the city limits with two new biergartens for the summer.

Over the past few weeks, Mighty Squirrel has been operating a new biergarten at Faneuil Hall. The patio on the cobblestones is open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily, and features easy access to the food options nearby.

Additionally, the brewery opened a new Arsenal Yards biergarten in Watertown on Friday.

"We'll have lots of Adirondack chairs to lounge in and plenty of umbrella shade to hang out under. Sit back, unwind, and enjoy the space with friends and family," brewery officials said.

The hours for the Arsenal Yards biergarten are 4 to 11 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday.
