• Former West Wareham Academy building to become condos (theweektoday.com) — A former school building at 1073 Main Street in West Wareham is set to be converted into seven condominiums, pending final Zoning Board of Appeals approval in January. The project keeps the historic footprint, adds ADA-accessible features, and updates lighting, access, and stormwater systems to comply with Wareham zoning bylaws, with construction to begin as soon as approvals are finalized.
   

• Robert 'Bobby' Medeiros, 53 (theweektoday.com) — Wareham residents are mourning the passing of 53-year-old Robert “Bobby” Medeiros, a generous handyman and family man who called the town home. Raised in New Bedford, he worked in construction and cherished time with his partner, children, and dog. His family asks that memorial donations support Parents Supporting Parents’ scholarship program for people seeking substance abuse treatment and sober living.
