Experience Love this Christmas at Grace

Christmas for us looked different last year! We remember how difficult the isolation, separation and quarantine was. It took a toll on our way of life. This year we are celebrating Christmas even in the midst of the strain and psychological impact of the pandemic. We imagine love, and beauty, and wonder for you, your family, loved ones this year as a way to get us beyond the loss and painful memories we've all experienced.

Here at Grace Chapel we want to reconnect with an old ancient living story that calls us out of the ordinary, mundane, and heartbreaking experiences so we can experience a no-strings-attached kind of love. God has chosen to come down.

He came as a baby to embrace us and remind us we are loved. His birth changes the chaos and brings hope, joy, peace in the midst. And when we are in a room with others and get to share stories, sing meaningful songs and get inspired by a hopeful message something happens to our soul.

When we light a candle, sing a Christmas carol, it calls us to something better, someone bigger and larger than us who is more able to be with us in our time of need. We hope you can join us on Thursday at 7:00 pm and Friday at 3:00 pm and 4:30 pm.

“There’s no season quite like Christmas for bringing out all of our emotions. And there’s no emotion so closely linked to Christmas as love. Our holiday songs, stories, movies, and traditions all repeat the same chorus: Christmas means love.”

But what kind of love does it mean? “What if shepherds and wise men and a new little family were all changed not by the love they gave but by what they received: a love that made them brave, known, and free—not only on Christmas but for the rest of their lives?”

This December, join us from home or in person for an experience of faith, hope, and Christmas’ greatest gift: love. You can find more information more about Christmas at grace.org/Christmas
