5 Things: Concussion Discussion, Evening Meetings, Father's Day Stories and More

A few things you need to know on Wednesday, June 12, 2013, in Wayland.

1. Calling all parents and coaches. Dr. William Meehan, director of the Sports Concussion Clinic in the Division of Sports Medicine at Children's Hospital in Boston, will be at Wayland High School tonight at 7:30 for a talk on concussions and youth sports. The talk is free.

2. Meetings tonight. Three meetings tonight at the Wayland Town Building are all scheduled to commence at 7:30 p.m. The Wastewater Management District Commission, Surface Water Quality Committee and Energy Initiatives Advisory Committee are on the schedule.

4. The Wayland Town Beach opens full-time this weekend. Remember you'll need a beach tag to take part in the town beach fun. You can get them online.
