5 Things: Finnerty's Hearing Continues and More

A few things you need to know on Tuesday, June 11, 2013, in Wayland.

1. The Planning Board will continue a discussion tonight of the approval decision for a one-building, CVS-only site plan for the former Finnerty's site. The meeting is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. The agenda is here.

2. The Zoning Board of Appeals is also scheduled to meet tonight beginning at 8:20 p.m. This board's agenda items appear to include standard residential zoning issues.

3. The kick-off of Wayland's year-long 375th anniversary celebration is THIS WEEKEND. A circus, a carnival, a barn dance, a bonfire and more are all on the agenda. You can purchase your tickets online ahead of time for the circus and carnival.

4. Speaking of the 375th celebration, there remain lots of opportunities to help out with Saturday's kick-off events. There are open volunteer spots for as short as an hour spread out throughout the day and for a variety of activities. Here's more about signing up to volunteer and a link to do it online.
