5 Things: Nstar Maintenance, Conroy Office Hours, 375th Committee Gathers

A few things you need to know on Friday, June 14, 2013, in Wayland.

1. Nstar is coming back to town, this time to clear under transmission lines in the north part of town. For that reason, residents are asked to stay off of the Nstar/MBTA row from Wayland Town Center to the Weston town line from now until the end of June.

2. Stop by Parmenter Community Health Center today from 8 a.m.-9:30 a.m. for a free blood glucose and/or free blood pressure screening.

3. The Wayland 375th Committee is gathering tonight at 6 p.m. at Wayland Middle School to set up for Saturday's carnival and circus. It's posted as a meeting on the town website.

4. Rep. Tom Conroy will be at the Wayland Public Library this afternoon from 3 p.m.-3:30 p.m. for his monthly open office hour with constituents. Conroy represents precincts 1, 2 and 3 in Wayland and office hours are first-come, first-served.
