5 Things: Salon Renovating, School Committee Coming and Training Field History

1. Moodz Wayland will be closed July 1-5 as the shop is renovated, according to the salon and spa's Facebook page. The Acton location is open.

2. Here come the tax bills. You should receive your first Fiscal Year 2014 bill by the end of the week.

5. Year of Wayland Trivia.  A small triangle is all that is left of the nine-acre training field (corner Glezen Lane and Training Field Rd.) where the milita drilled from 1714 to 1804. Later it would serve as the central gathering place of the minutemen and milita who marched to Concord on April 19, 1775.
