Canceled Meeting, Water Workshop, SADD and More
A few things you need to know in Wayland for Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2013.

1. It's the final session of this season's Water Wise Workshops. Kids are invited to Lake Cochituate State Park in Natick Tuesday at 10 a.m. for this week's session: Water Wise Wizards.
2. Canceled Meeting. The Surface Water Quality Committee will not meet Tuesday as previously scheduled.
3. The OPEB Advisory Committee and the Zoning Board of Appeals, however, will meet Tuesday at 7 p.m. and 8:20 p.m., respectively. Full agendas are available on the Town of Wayland website.
4. ICYMI. The list of immunizations Wayland students will need before heading to school is here. There are pharmacies in town that offer the shots in addition to, of course, local doctors.
5. Year of Wayland Trivia. In 1981, Robert Anastos founded SADD (Students Against Drunk Driving) at Wayland High School. It became the nation's leading peer-to-peer youth education and prevention organization.
