4. ICYMI. Wayland Police are reminding residents to keep an eye on the caretakers of their elderly loved ones after a woman was arrested for allegedly stealing thousands from an elderly Wayland man.
5. Year of Wayland Trivia. George Pitman was the first professional superintendent of schools in 1895. His was a joint superintendency with West Boyleston and other towns.
