Deadline Approaching to Opt Out of Mosquito Control Spraying

WAYLAND, MA - Wayland residents have until March 1 to submit their requests to have their property excluded from the summer 2016 mosquito control spraying.

If you want your property excluded from spraying, here are the steps:

• Send a certified letter to the Wayland Town Clerk (41 Cochituate Road, Wayland)
• In your letter, include our name, address, telephone numbers and the spray program for which the exclusion is requested. Also, include the type of marking you plan to use to mark the boundary of your property.
• Mark the boundaries of the property every 50 feet by paper plates, surveyors tape or other appropriate means. The type of markings should be stated in the certified letter.
