All day on Monday, Oct. 13, eat at The Local, present the flyer (or in this case, this story, which will act as a “flyer”), and 10 percent of everything is donated to the Neighbor Brigade.

The Neighbor Brigade, a Massachusetts nonprofit, establishes and mobilizes community-specific networks of volunteers to help residents facing sudden crises and provides free, immediate support services with the shared purpose of helping fellow residents.

Recently, Neighbor Brigade announced that its Wayland chapter has expanded its leadership.
