Gender-Inclusive Bathrooms Coming To Wayland High, Students Report

WAYLAND, MA - The Wayland High School Gay-Straight Alliance is on a mission to introduce gender-inclusive bathrooms into the school, students with the school news website Wayland Student Press Network reported.

The bathrooms in the English Wing have already been approved for the project and bathrooms in the commons are still under consideration, the students reported.

“If we ignore the fact that some students in this school don’t have the security to be who they are wherever they are, then we aren’t doing our best to be accepting and inclusive of everyone,” school senior and Alliance member Linda Zhang told Baranovsky and Hughes.
