Learn About Yiddish Link to Woody Guthrie

On Nov. 17, Temple Shir Tikva will host Nora Guthrie to discuss her father, Woody Guthrie, and his relationship to his Jewish mother-in-law and how it influenced his art. 

“'HOLY GROUND' includes a presentation of photographs, musical excerpts from The Klezmatics’ 2-cd set of Woody’s songs Wonder Wheel and Happy Joyous Hanukkah, plus writings & artwork that illuminate their personal and creative relationship.
