Nanny Accused of Stealing From Wayland Family
The Wayland family also said that she put their 22-month-old son at risk.

WAYLAND, MA - A Wayland family is accusing their nanny of stealing from them and putting their young son in danger.
Catherine Oppen, 27, is facing four counts of larceny after Dre Rossi and Chris Hopkins of Wayland say she admitted to stealing jewelry from them, according to WBZ. The couple also said that Oppen put their 22-month-old son at risk, taking him places that she should not have taken him.

Oppen, an Acton resident, was arrested Jan. 7 by Wayland police. She was charged with receiving stolen property over $250 and larceny under $250.
She appeared in court Tuesday and will next be summonsed to court later this month, WBZ reported.
