Needed: Volunteers to Work in King Phillip Woods with SWEET, Inc.
The local invasive weed eradication and habitat preservation group needs volunteers for a project on Saturday, June 15.

The Sudbury Weed Education and Eradication Team has been working in King Phillip Woods for the past couple of weeks, but they need as many volunteers as possible for the work scheduled for June 15.
On June 15, the group hopes to plant native species to repopulate the area the group worked on in 2010-2011.
"After an invasive Multiflora Rose population was removed, there was nothing else left," according to an announcement. The group will plant Spice Bushes and native tree or shrubs to replace the invasive species that were removed.

There are a number of implements and materials, such as tools, buckets of water, new plants and more, that will need to be toted to the site Saturday, so an abundance of volunteers are needed.
